From the first fix to a website that keeps working
Step 1 fixes what is getting in the way. Step 2 keeps it that way, week to week. Every change is agreed, and every journey is tested.
Website optimisation
Fix what gets in the way, based on your assessment.
-
01Step 1 of 8
Agree what to fix first
Start with your action plan
We start with the findings from your assessment and agree which pages, journeys and fixes come first, based on impact and effort.
We also agree what a valuable action looks like for your business: a quote request, a booking, an order or a visit.
Your benefitA clear scope, with the most valuable fixes done first.
-
02Step 2 of 8
Rewrite key pages around customer questions
Answer what people need to know
I rewrite key pages so a first-time visitor can quickly see what you offer, where you operate and why to choose you.
You review every change to wording, and can approve it, edit it or ask for another approach before anything goes live.
Your benefitPages that sound like your business and help people decide.
-
03Step 3 of 8
Clear the path to enquire, book or buy
Remove the friction
I simplify forms, booking links, ordering paths and contact options, and check them on mobile and desktop.
Speed, mobile and accessibility issues are fixed, so the site works for more people on more devices.
Your benefitFewer people dropping away before they get in touch.
-
04Step 4 of 8
Set up local search properly
Be found by people nearby
I set up your Google Business Profile and the local SEO basics on your site, so your services, locations, opening hours and contact details are clear and consistent wherever they appear.
Your benefitAccurate, consistent information wherever people search for you.
-
05Step 5 of 8
Test every journey
Know that enquiries reach you
I test forms, booking links and contact options from start to finish, including test enquiries where appropriate, so you know where each one lands.
If something cannot be fixed straight away, I make that gap clear and agree the next step with you.
Your benefitConfidence that the ways customers contact you actually work.
Website management
Keep it current, tested and working, week to week.
-
06Step 6 of 8
Keep your website current
Updates handled for you
Send me changes to pages, services, prices and offers, and I make them for you.
New wording is shared for your approval before it goes live. Simple factual updates, like new opening hours, are made as you request them.
Your benefitA website that stays accurate without taking your time.
-
07Step 7 of 8
Check the journeys regularly
Catch problems before customers do
I regularly check forms, booking links and contact paths, and keep your Google Business Profile up to date.
If something breaks, I fix it or tell you what needs your attention.
Your benefitFewer missed enquiries from broken links or forms.
-
08Step 8 of 8
Report in plain language
Know what your website is doing
Each month you receive a short report on website enquiries and performance: what changed, what was fixed and what to consider next.
Where tracking is available, enquiries and bookings are reported separately from general visits.

You know your website is working
My role is to make your website clear, reliable and easy to act on.
You know what each page is for, what visitors are asked to do and that the ways they contact you have been tested. That gives you a stronger foundation for search, advertising and everything else that sends people to your site.

Questions You May Have
Do you rebuild my website?+
Not usually. Optimisation improves the site you already have: its pages, journeys, speed and local search. If the assessment shows a rebuild would be the better investment, I will tell you and we can scope it separately.
Which website platforms do you work with?+
Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace and Wix, as well as custom builds. We confirm your platform and access details before any work starts.
Do I approve changes before they go live?+
Yes. New wording and new pages are shared for your approval first. Simple factual updates you send me, like new opening hours or prices, are made as you request them.
Do I need website optimisation before website management?+
Management keeps a working website in good shape, so most businesses start with the fixes from their action plan. If your site is already in good shape, we can agree that on your discovery call.
