From a clear plan to a steady presence
Step 1 sets out where to show up and what to say. Step 2 puts it into action every month, with your approval before anything goes out.
Social media strategy
Where to show up, what to say and how often.
-
01Step 1 of 8
Choose where to show up
Focus on the channels that matter
We agree which channels suit your business and your customers, and which ones you can leave alone.
We also agree what social media should do for you: build trust, bring people back, or prompt an enquiry, booking or visit.
Your benefitEffort focused where your customers actually are.
-
02Step 2 of 8
Agree what to talk about
Content themes matched to what you want to grow
I set out content themes tied to the products or services you want to promote, the questions customers ask and the work that shows what you do.
Your benefitPosts with a purpose, connected to your business goals.
-
03Step 3 of 8
Set a rhythm you can keep
Consistency over volume
We agree how often to post on each channel and which formats to use.
The plan is built around the time, photos and input your business can realistically provide.
Your benefitA posting plan that lasts beyond the first month.
-
04Step 4 of 8
Set your tone and approvals
Sound like your business
I prepare practical guidance on tone, formats and how posts are reviewed and approved, so anyone creating content for your business stays on brand.
Your benefitClear guidance your team, or I, can work from.
Social media management
Posts created from your strategy, approved by you and published on schedule.
-
05Step 5 of 8
Plan the month ahead
Approve a calendar in advance
Each month I prepare a calendar with the posts, captions and images planned for each channel.
You can approve, edit or remove anything before it is scheduled.
Your benefitYou know what is going out, and when, before it is published.
-
06Step 6 of 8
Schedule and publish
Consistent, on-brand posting
Approved posts are scheduled and published on your chosen channels, on the rhythm we agreed.
Your benefitA steady presence without daily effort from you.
-
07Step 7 of 8
Monitor comments
Questions handled the way you prefer
I monitor comments on your posts and handle questions the way you prefer: passed on to you to answer, or replied to using information you have provided.
Anything that needs your expertise or judgement is passed to you either way.
Your benefitCustomers get answers, and you see what needs your attention.
-
08Step 8 of 8
Report what is working
Measure what matters
Each month you receive a performance report covering reach and engagement and, where tracking is available, the enquiries, bookings or visits that came from social media.
Likes and follows are useful signals. Enquiries and bookings are what you make decisions on.

Social media services
A consistent, on-brand presence without the time drain.
You stay in control of what your business says
My role is to make your social media purposeful, consistent and easy to approve.
You know which channels you are on and why, what will be posted before it goes out and which results matter. That keeps social media working for your business, rather than the other way around.
Paul Hannigan, Founder, Dove Digital

Which results matter

“Paul took my business and turned it into a complete online system: the brand, the website, the marketing, ads and launch plan. He spent time to really understand my business and my customers and never lost sight of the person on the other side of the screen.”
Diana, Clinic Owner, Sydney
Questions You May Have
Do I need to be on every platform?+
No. Most small businesses are better served by one or two channels used well. The strategy identifies which ones suit your customers.
Who provides the photos and videos?+
Real photos of your work, team and premises help people trust you, so we agree what you can supply and how. If you would also like posts, carousels and short videos created for you, that is part of content creation and management.
Will you reply to comments as my business?+
If you would like me to. You can choose to have questions passed on to you, or answered using information you have provided, such as prices, opening hours and services. Anything that needs your expertise or judgement is passed to you either way.
Do I approve the posts?+
Yes. You approve a monthly calendar in advance and can edit or remove any post before it is scheduled.
